I am a data scientist at the University of Chicago’s Crime Lab New York and Center for Applied AI, working on projects for Jens Ludwig and Sendhil Mullainathan that use machine learning to tackle difficult public policy problems and understand human decision-making. In my own work, I am drawn to the problems that affect cities, with specific interests in how institutional and environmental changes in cities impact crime, education, and inequality.
